Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is a famous American model and actress. She is also a fashion designer model. After a brief stint as a model in the fashion industry before moving into acting by appearing as guest stars on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s and High Incident. In 1997 she debuted as a film actor on Nowhere. Her performances were in American Beauty, for which she received an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie attracted a lot of attention. Her next appearance was in Loser (2000) in which she starred alongside American Pie actor Jason Biggs. She was later the title role for the film Sugar & Spice (2002). The film also featured her in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun and in the 2004 thriller feature Trauma. Her other appearances include HBO's series Six Feet Under. In 2008, she featured in several films like Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the movie adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari was featured in numerous fashion magazines and blogs and blogs, such as Vogue. Suvari is an official Lancome model and appears on print advertisements in Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has long been an advocate and supporter for the African Medical and Research Foundation. Also, she is involved in issues of female empowerment and works with organizations that promote awareness of breast cancer and an End Violence Against Women Campaign.
